Off to War
Every little boy plays Army in the woods and dreams of being a hero. Some of these boys join the military and practice the trade of the soldier. Some of these soldiers go to war and some even become the hero of their youth.
Before I left home I was asked what I would be doing in Iraq. In the Infantry your job is to kill the enemy and that is what we will do. However, I will be very pleased if nome of my men become heros.

You complete your mission and you come home. Share your experiences with those youth when you return and expand their minds with the history of tomorrow. You are all heros in our hearts. We could not be more proud.
A hero is a person that does what you do, and not looking for a reward in doing it. I wish nothing but the best for you guys, and hope that you all return home safe, becuase there will be a much needed party waiting for you guys.
I think we all have our own opinion of what a hero is. I know I do. My hero's are my friends who serve with me. My wife who is being a single parent right now, and the soldiers who give the ultimate sacrafice.
I don't want to be the army's "hero" I believe that entails getting shot, then you get a box or a ribbon.
Hey Man Good luck over seas, see you when you get back.
hope you are doing well on your journey. take care of yourself and each other.
Be careful over there and just focus on doing your job and making it home alive. Take care of yourself and each other!
Hey,
Going to see the elephant.
Fun and games, be nice, be sweet and kind. Don't shoot anybody, unless they are trying to shoot you, or blow you up.
The ROE might not protect you.
Yep, fun and games.
Continue the Mission.
